Hampden Township is “Where People Come First”. The township is in Central PA and is, wait for it, centrally located between Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York City…this makes for a great suburban living community with big city amenities within a few hours drive. Residents enjoy easy access to major highways like Routes 11 and 15 as well as Interstates 76, 81, and 83. The township is also a halfway point between county seat of
Carlisle and the capital city of
Harrisburg. On-the-go professionals can hop on a train in downtown Harrisburg and head to
Philly or the
Steel City with ease!
The Carlisle Pike is the major thoroughfare with access to shopping, dining, shopping, daily conveniences, and dining...and there's some shopping??.

GO EAGLES! Elementary students attend Hampden Elementary, Sporting Hill Elementary, or Shaull Elementary schools. Middle school students attend Good Hope Middle School but will be moving to a newly constructed school in the 2019-20 year. High school students attend Cumberland Valley High School which provides an incredible array of educational opportunities for artists, athletes, and academics alike!
